Kafnu provides global co-working spaces tailored to local needs in Taipei, Hong Kong, Sydney, Ho Chi Minh, and Sri Lanka. The Kafnu Member Mobile App simplifies facility bookings and fosters community interaction, offering users quick access to preferred spaces and a versatile discussion platform.

Redesign Kafnu Member Mobile APP. In addition to aligning with the Brand Guidelines, it's essential to understand user behavior and optimize the existing user experience.

As illustrated above, the clear space for the logo is measured by using the height of the ‘K’.

When using the ’K’ as a profile icon, it should occupy no more than 70% of the total square area. The remaining area should be left clear.

The APP shared the codebase with the global Kafnu APPs. It hasn't been optimized for the Taipei & HK market in terms of UI and UX since it has built.








Research
Before starting the project, I conducted a survey and interviews with potential users to understand their basic needs for our mobile app. We surveyed 45 people and found that the results as following :

Having too many duplicate confirmation buttons increases the time and cognitive effort users spend searching for the target button. Users need more time to differentiate between different buttons, thereby reducing operational efficiency and prolonging task completion time.

Ensure that remaining confirmation buttons are clearly labeled and visually distinct from each other. This helps users easily identify the correct button and reduces the likelihood of errors.

Both survey and interview results show that the majority of participants pay attention to interaction with the community, such as chat & discussion feed and they would miss their way when they need to find these 2 functions separately.

I added a tab that let the users choose the feed & chat, and step-by-step guidance with tooltips was chosen by most participants because the clear format helped guide and engage the community.

The proposed solution was to design a user interface that corresponds with users’ motion and touch input and can arrange the viewing of the Shared workspaces in a 360 degree-video at anywhere and any place.
